Relationships are essential for gaining insight into weaknesses and pain that need to be addressed. You are the expert on your partner, and they are the expert on you–they really are your best teacher.  A lot of times we just have a hard time hearing their feedback in a safe and productive way, and sharing feedback with them in a way they can hear, too.
